The editorial committees have been hard at work on the various chapters. The academic staff are writing part 1 and 2. The key staff in this area are Glen Philips, Sybe Jongeling and John Renner.

The first part is the academic section with the Bob Peter philosophy and how this was applied. The second part focuses on the various teaching areas, with the amusing stories that occurred.

The third part is the student experience, told through student eyes. It is a coming of age story and all students are encouraged to add their own stories and photos to this. The editorial staff for this area are: Rivka Niesten, Marjorie Bly, Neil (Robert) Kidd and Terry Watt.

I have added the student background chapter and given an overview of what we think should be in the student section. You can use this structure to shape your contributions. If you think there is something missing, please advise on: mltcinfo@mtlawleyteacherscollege.com.au

As MLTC evolved, it branched out and the Aboriginal and Intercultural Studies Post Graduate Studies program was instituted. This had its beginnings due to the teaching course not providing any training for students, who were sent to remote areas to work with Aboriginal students.

A number of meeting have ensued to capture the essence of this and a number of other programs, which ensued. Key people in this area are John Sherwood and Toby Metcalfe.

Other people involved in a variety of ATEP projects include: Eversley Mortlock (Davies), Neville Green, Doug Hubble, and Jo (Anthea) Taylor.

We are interested in setting up a get together if there is sufficient interest. If you would like to be part of this, please email us at: mltcinfo@mtlawleyteacherscollege.com.au
